Mental Health

Whit Alleys Dziurka

These long, harsh, Northern winters are hard enough, and the current state of American politics offer no respite. With the revelations of racist police and policies, the over work from terrible labor politics and union busting, and the exhaustion of trying to "just get by" on abysmal wages, how can we continue our work as activists in seemingly adverse environments? Maybe the weather is a pointed reflection of our health? Capitalism leaves no room for mental illness, if we are not being productive our value and livelihoods hang in the balance.
